Gartner Research finds that smart glasses technology will “save the field service industry $1B per year” in 2017.

Paul Ledbetter, Senior PM for Microsoft’s Global Industry team for Dynamics, has authored a blog showcasing the partnership between APX and Microsoft Dynamics to build augmented reality scenarios for this type of deskless worker. Skylight interfaces with Microsoft Dynamics to allow field service technicians access data, review informative diagrams, and receive guidance from other technicians to perform their jobs more safely and efficiently.
