Work Hands Free with smart watches

By April 29, 2015 No Comments

Wearable devices are unique. They will go places and let you do things which are impossible with phones, tablets and laptops.

Our mission is to make these devices useful for work. For our customers it means giving people immediate help and data, access to colleagues and experts, and connections to tools and machines – while hands-on at the job.

We also believe in the power of an ecosystem. Many of the top technology companies in the world are building wearable devices, and we work with just about all of them. Their innovations and economies of scale are catalysts driving the industry forward.

We harness this energy on behalf of our customers. Skylight provides a common user experience and single manageable back-end for their hands-on operations. They can pick the right device for the job, swap, add, upgrade and change with ease.

And now, we add smart watches to Skylight.

The same system that powers glasses from Google, Sony, Epson, Recon and Vuzix will power Android Wear and Apple watches.

The scenarios where you need complex help or to record and share work activities smart glasses might be the right choice. For scenarios where you need task lists and notifications, smart watches might be the right choice. Either way, Skylight is the wearable-optimized application your users need to do their best work.

Watch support will be included as part of Skylight and delivered starting with the Skylight R5 wave. If you are interested in learning more please visit www.apx-labs.com/smartwatch/
